Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

An interesting game for Metapan (4-0) which hosted in Metapan 4th placed Brujos (2-2). Leader Metapan had an easy win 104-63. Metapan forced 21 Brujos turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Lee Vasquez (176-1991) who helped to win the game recording 38 points (!!!) and 6 assists. Nicaraguan guard Deikel Sanchez (-1996) contributed with 27 points and 12 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners. Alexander Colocho (-1999) answered with 21 points and 5 rebounds for Brujos. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Metapan have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 4-0 record behind leader San Salvador, which they share with Santa Tecla. Brujos at the other side keep the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Santiagueno. Metapan is looking forward to face Cojute (#7) in Cojutepeque in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Brujos will play on the road against Quezaltepeque and are hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
Bottom-ranked Chalchuapa is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to leader Santa Tecla (4-0) 91-75. It was a great evening for Cuban forward Yoel Cubillas (204-1994) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!), 24 rebounds and 4 blocks. Najeen Nawabi helped adding 16 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. At the losing side Ryann Mercado responded with 39 points (!!!). Chalchuapa's coach Rodolfo Aguiar rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Santa Tecla have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Metapan. Chalchuapa at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game in San Vicente was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Cojute (2-3) played at the court of seventh ranked Fantasmas (2-3). Fantasmas defeated Cojute 87-77 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Cojute. American players dominated the game. It was an exceptional evening for Caleb Bowser who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. Jeremy Agosto came up with 30 points, 6 assists and 6 steals for Cojute in the defeat. Fantasmas moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Cojute. Fantasmas will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Cojute will play against the league's second-placed Metapan (#2) and hope to secure a win.
